I recently came across Emma from new girly blog www.thenewpink.co.uk .Their aim is to trawl the Internet to find out whats happening in fashion, TV and music and the latest in celebrity goss, health and beauty, gadgets and games.

There is nothing more annoying then when we get an Indian Summer and the shops are all full of Winter clothes.Or you are going on a Winter sunshine break and you can’t find a decent pair of sandals or a nice bikini because the high street is in the depths of Christmas run up fever !

I’m a sucker for a bit of romance and whilst surfing earlier I came across a page that was full of Valentine ideas.We usually have a page dedicated to February 14th sometime after Christmas but did you know you can buy a Valentine gift all year round?

I am of the school of thought that I would rather have a love gift bought for me on any other day of the year as I think it has become far too commercial with the cost of roses et al sky rocketing through the roof.

My kids are no longer babies although they hate it when I still call them my babies !

But how I wish this had been around when my husband and I were trying to teach them what was a suitable time for them to get up in the mornings.Suitable that is for Mum and Dad.There are only so many 5am wake up calls you can stand ,right?

This alarm clock come night light shows them the simple way of when it is time to get up.

When the child wakes up they simply look at the clock face - and the lit image on it will either show a sleeping animal (time to go back to sleep!) or a wide-awake animal (time to get up!)

As a parent all you need to do is set the clock to the time when you want your child to get up, and show them that when the sleeping picture is lit they should stay in bed. You can get them to play-act sleeping in their bed with the sleeping picture on, and then getting out when the wide-awake picture comes on.

Some gorgeous new jewellery has hit the boutique this week !

The celebrity inspired Hoop Pendant is one of my personal favourites that I have bought myself as it is so simple yet looks so stunning at the same time.Also the Pretzel Pendant is the cutest little necklace.I have so much choice I end up buying everything as soon as I see it !

This diamond encrusted ring is so diamond life like that all my friends keep doing double takes … they think I’ve come into some serious money !

Although not new but still a best seller my all time favourites are the pearl bling rings.I have a Black one and a Pink one and I have got to tell you these are a real show stopper whether you are all dressed up or just in your jeans and tee. I don’t have the White yet but it is only a matter of time !
