Daily Pick - ipods, mobile phones, MP3s and all are a way of life for most in the 21st century. Indeed some people feel lost without their ipod . I know this from personal experience as my 14 year old son was distraught when the battery ran out on his nano a few weeks ago !

Because these gadgets feature heavily in our everyday lives so to comes the necessity to jazz and bling them up a bit.This is where today’s daily pick comes in ….

Daily Pick -I absolutely love this little swarovski christmas keepsake heart.

 I love the little poem and the cute little envelope it comes in. It is a special little gift.The heart can be tied to the tree and is something lovely for someone special to remember you by especially as the heart has been designed to come off the organza ribbon and thread onto a chain. The person can then wear to remember where you where at Christmas !

Lovely that’s my favourite word for this item today !

Daily Pick- But a phone sock? Well that’s got to be different !Today my choice are these cool little mobile phone holders.Those kids who are getting a mobile phone for the first time this christmas  will love them as they are cute in a kid type of way. My youngest is 10 and he thought they were great but not so my 14 year old !

 As well as looking cool and funky they will protect their phones as well and at 4 quid including UK delivery we think they make great pressies for giving to their school mates.

PS .. it would seem quite a few adults dig them as well so they would be ideal for Secret Santa pressies!

Daily Pick : It was Christmas  2006 and something that were flying out were our range of vintage inspired hand painted christmas baubles . Back by popular demand for Christmas 2007 and what makes them particularly gorgeous and unusual is that the artist hand paints in gold leaf paint the message of your choice. This really does raise personalisation to the next level as your chosen messsage can mean so much for that particular year or occasion.

A popular one with all you romantic guys ( and girls) out there is to have the diamond ring design and the personal message to say ‘MARRY ME !’ This type of bauble and message is a very popular request ! Lots of people make marriage proposals over the holiday period .

Today is the day to set the record straight about our LovePrints Fingerprint Jewellery.

 We have been asked various questions about it since we launched it back in March.

Q . What is different about it to the other fingerprint jewellery now becoming available?

A . For a start off all of the pieces are branded LovePrints pieces. This means it is officially recognised as the name has been registered in the UK by LovePrints at the Sheffield Assay Office. This entitles it to it’s own silver legality mark .. meaning the mark proves what it is … .999 fine silver.

Each individual piece has it’s own tiny LovePrints brand identity heart attached .Once again this signifies what you are buying.

 Q. Why is it so much more expensive than the other pieces that are becoming available?

A. Well .. hallmarking each piece doesn’t come cheap but at least this way you know that legally you are getting exactly what you pay for as the Assay Office not only provides the stamp but checks the weight.

Also we use decent size weights and expensive findings to create all of our pieces.The LovePrints Large Heart for example is at least the circumference of a 50 pence coin !

 What a lot of people won’t know is that legally pieces over a certain weight MUST be hallmarked.This again tells you immediately that ours are decent size pieces. Once again LovePrints have done their homework and why you have chosen to purchase a LovePrints piece !

 LovePrints will be bringing out some smaller weight items that have no need to be hallmarked and then you can see why the difference is  in  the price for the high end pieces of the collection.

Q. What is special about your impression kit?

A. Wouldn’t you like to know? I can tell you one thing though .. you can have as many trys as you like until you are happy with the finished result. You don’t get this with all of the other kits on the market … that’s why it is Patent Pending !

I read with interest in the Telegraph that Harrods opened it’s Christmas Store last week.

Santa arrived in an ice cream van !

 The article said that it opens in August because of all the overseas visitors who want to buy Christmas gifts from Harrods.

I guess the year is getting shorter and the earth is spinning ever faster !

 Our Christmas Store has actually stayed  open all year round and I have got to say that people do buy in advance and that we have alreay started to sell one of 2007 bestsellers again .. our personalised hand painted xmas baubles .. 2008 bestsellers here we come
